Settling in

Evan will be four weeks old tomorrow and things are
still going very well. Almost *too* well if you ask
me! Evan is so laid back and sleeps a LOT still so
I'm enjoying that while it lasts. He generally wakes
up twice at night but goes right back to sleep after
a feed so I'm not up for too long. All in all, I
can't complain. Now if only we could get Amelia to
stop waking up before 6am...
Amelia is attending nursery/pre-school two afternoons a week and really loves it. She gets to paint pictures, sing songs, play with cool toys and interact with other children. What more could you ask for when you're 2 1/2?
My mom arrives in two days so we're very excited about that. Amelia has been saying "Nana's coming!" for weeks now and can't wait to see her. I'm sure she'll be spoiled rotten while her grandmother is here. We finally got a car (hooray!) so for the first time in four years I am behind the wheel again. It feels great! Not to mention handy for when bad weather strikes, like today's rain. I can't tell you how much easier life is for me now that I have a way to get both children from A to B in something that doesn't require decent weather and physical strength. Many thanks to Pat and Bruce for helping us sort that out, we're very grateful.
That's all of our news, really. We're all healthy and happy and settling into being a family of four very easily. More updates to come.
