3 Month Update
A lot has happened in the last few weeks -- Amelia can hold her head up by herself when sitting, she has started teething and already cut her two bottom teeth, finally met her Aunt Andrea, learned how to suck her thumb, got a new cot and started sleeping on her own at night, and went on a couple of train journeys. Whew! Quite a busy time and she's only 3 months old!

When they say it gets easier at 3 months, believe it. There were times i thought things would never improve but it was almost like Millie knew her 3 month birthday was approaching and decided to finally give us a break and become a textbook baby. Aunt Andrea will say that it is all down to her since most of these positive changes came about on her arrival in London, and I agree with her. Millie was so determined to impress her aunt that she started sleeping through the night (for the most part) on the day of Andrea's arrival. This means we get some time to ourselves in the evening and I don't have to wake up every 2 hours to feed her. Viva la sleep!

Andrea's visit was fantastic, it was wonderful to see her and to see her meet Millie for the first time. We had a great time visiting, playing with the baby, taking her on trips around town and into the city, and even down to the coast to a lovely city called Brighton, about 1 hour by train from our place. Amelia saw the sea for the first time and we took her along the pier. Unfortunately, it turned a bit rainy and chilly (it IS England after all) so we didn't get to walk along the water, but we still had a good day trip and Millie was very well behaved. She is missing her aunty already and we can't wait to visit in October. Nana and Grandpa Bully will be amazed at how big she's gotten, she'll be 6 months old by then! I've explained to Amelia that she will be meeting loads of other family members too, who will all want to hold her, and she seems to be excited about that as well. She has great-grandparents, great aunts, and such to meet still.

We don't have a great deal planned for the rest of the summer, just a visit to Derby in August and then Brussels to visit Paul's brother David and his fiancee Olia in September. We'll be going to Crete, Greece for their wedding next summer, which will be fantastic. Paul and I have been to the Greek islands before and had a great time so we can't wait to visit another one. Amelia will have more stamps in her passport by next year than most of us do!

Enjoy the latest pictures and movies, we reorganized them so that it's easier to navigate. Let us know if you have any suggestions for the site, we hope to glam it up a bit in the coming months. I'm looking into working from home and doing some writing professionally so hopefully I'll have time to update this site more regularly as well.

Adios amigos!
